Securing sponsorship and media coverage at METS

A successful trip to the Marine Equipment Trade Show (METS) in Amsterdam saw Merchant Technology Marketing secure a Superyacht Awards sponsorship deal for specialist rigging client Future Fibres, and land several articles with UK and European yachting media.
In addition to PR activity for Future Fibres, Merchant Technology Marketing designed the company’s exhibition stand and is currently developing its new website and e-marketing campaign.

New client Holmatro Marine Equipment also exhibited at METS, and was armed with new brochures for its winches and rigging hydraulics range. Merchant Technology Marketing’s copywriting team edited the English-language editions, ensuring that text accurately presents the Dutch company’s products and reflects its new corporate style.

Holmatro has engaged Merchant Technology Marketing to review and write other English marketing materials, including literature, press releases and web copy.

METS is one of the most important marine shows of the year, with over 1200 exhibitors from around the world. Merchant Technology Marketing set up appointments to see a number of exhibitors to discuss marketing requirements, and looks set to secure new business as a result.
