The MTM Agency is joining teams from the hotel and hospitality sector to compete in the Sail to Reward Regatta on 10 June, which aims to raise much needed funds for the ‘Room to Reward’ Charity.
The one-day sailing event hosted by Prometheus Sailing and Sunsail, starts from Ocean Village Marina right outside the MTM offices, and will see teams set sail on Sunsail’s 41.0 yachts in a day of great racing, team building and making new friends.
Starting with breakfast at Southampton Harbour Hotel and Spa, teams will head to the yachts for a briefing before spending the day racing across the Solent. Afterwards, there will be a drinks reception, a regatta dinner at the hotel followed by prize giving presentations.
The winning team will be awarded the Mermaid Trophy, sponsored by Mermaid Gin, MTM is also presenting a ‘Making Waves’ trophy awarded to the team which has demonstrated amazing teamwork and collaboration; qualities that are close to our hearts, and integral to our deliverance of exceptional work for our client partners.

Last year’s inaugural event raised £20,000 for Room to Reward, which was created to say thank you to hidden heroes (volunteers who give up their time to make a difference to those who need it most). It sees hotel and holiday park partners donate their unsold rooms so that charities and community groups can nominate their hidden heroes for a well-deserved break.
