Content Marketing Executive

The MTM Agency is a leading integrated marketing agency and is looking for a Content Marketing Executive to join its team. If you are an experienced content writer, this is an excellent opportunity for you to advance your career within a people-focused business.

Ideally, you will have proven experience in writing SEO focussed copy for web pages as well as content for social media, blogs and case studies.

This role involves collaborating with the wider agency marketing and digital teams to support both our own and our client's marketing strategies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Writing blogs for the MTM website

  • Working as part of a tight-knit friendly team; liaising with colleagues to write case studies for the agency

  • Managing the production of the MTM industry newspapers

  • Writing articles and blog posts for clients in a variety of styles from very technical to colloquial

  • Proof reading all content across the agency

  • Writing social media content and SEO focused web content

  • Prioritising and coordinating demands efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.

  • Working closely with other teams to deliver on shared KPI’s

Essential skills

  • Experience in writing long and short form content for a variety of channels

  • Ability to learn about new concepts and curious by nature

  • Some understanding of the world of digital marketing

  • Pro-active with experience of working under your own initiative

  • Excellent attention to detail, thorough and accurate

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to work to deadlines and as part of a broader marketing team

  • A confident and enthusiastic personality with a forward thinking and can-do attitude

  • Willingness to suggest new ideas and recognise the value they add

  • Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task

  • A self-motivated approach

  • The ability to hit the ground running

Other nice to have skills

  • Experience of using Adobe tools and Figma or similar platforms

  • Some knowledge of SEO would be desirable

  • Experience of working in a marketing agency
