The Opportunity

A new exciting opportunity for a PPC Manager buyer to join our award winning, market-leading integrated communications agency based in Southampton.

This is an important role for a talented performance marketing professional, looking to progress their career at an agency where they can make a positive difference and be empowered to drive client campaigns.

We are seeking a skilled individual to handle the strategy planning, negotiation and procurement of digital advertising inventory for our clients. Your primary objective will be to ensure that advertisements effectively reach target audiences through high-quality channels efficiently and on budget. In this role, you will need to excel in planning, negotiation, possess strong critical thinking abilities, and establish trust and rapport with both brand partners and media professionals. If you possess a deep understanding of current media channels and advertising options, we are eager to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to optimise ad exposure, surpass competitors, and effectively manage budgets to achieve maximum impact.

Your responsibilities will encompass strategic media planning, campaign optimisation, budget management, vendor negotiation, asset delivery and performance analysis. By leveraging your expertise, you will contribute to the success of our clients’ advertising campaigns while driving growth for our organisation.

Job responsibilities

  • Developing effective PPC strategies
  • Participating in media planning to identify target audiences and craft effective campaigns
  • Help identify target audiences and plan media campaigns
  • Optimise plans and budgets according to the best media mix
  • Prepare schedules and adjust when needed
  • Experiment with new platforms and channels
  • Ensure ads are creative and displayed appropriately
  • Monitor costs and return on investment (ROI)
  • Report to clients and build long-term relationships
  • Manage Google Adwords accounts and campaigns effectively
  • Manage Microsoft Ads accounts and campaigns effectively
  • Manage Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok accounts and campaigns effectively

Essential skills

  • Proven experience in a similar role; experience in digital media is preferred
  • Interest in following advertising and media trends
  • Working knowledge of media analytics software (e.g. google analytics)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Qualifications in Google / Microsoft ads courses
