The Opportunity

Join an award-winning, Drum top ten UK agency, based on the waterside in Southampton.

You will be collaborating with our agency teams across a range of disciplines to create dynamic social campaigns that engage audiences and deliver the right commercial results.

You will be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic and creative approach to using social and will be able to show us recent client/in-house social campaign successes.

The MTM Agency has become a brand recognised in the marine, sports, energy, construction and renewables markets, not only for fully integrated marketing campaigns but also as a specialist in delivering large scale digital projects.

About the role

A great opportunity for a Social Account and Strategy Manager to develop our clients social strategies alongside our growing digital marketing, PR, content and creative teams. You will work with our planners and creatives, liaise with clients, to report on outstanding social campaigns.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with our content teams on the development of social media strategies, content planning and delivery to reach agreed audiences.
  • Taking the time to understand clients tone of voice and personality, guaranteeing all content is delivered in line with the brand and its values.
  • Working to the highest levels of accuracy and building trust with the client, ensuring that all activities are aligned with the client’s strategy and preferences.
  • Supporting the social team with community management and monitoring of client’s social channels.
  • Developing engaging and creative social content that deliver real engagement, adds value, and positions the brand.
  • Working with the digital performance team to deliver paid social campaigns.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience working in an agency environment or within a client brand’s social team, with a strong understanding of current social channels.
  • Creative and ideas driven, with a desire to find new ways to deliver on our client’s objectives using social channels.
  • A true passion for social media.
  • Great organisational skills and a very keen eye for detail.
  • Confident and comfortable speaking and presenting your ideas to the team and clients.
  • Able to build strong personable relationships.
  • Excellent command of English language and grammar.
  • Enjoy collaborating with the rest of the social team and within the wider agency.
  • Experience in social campaign management.
