Braemar needed to rebrand and develop its group website to more accurately represent its business, offering an easy-to-navigate contact directory and global mapping solution to highlight the business’s geographical presence. The project also called for the ability to cost-effectively create additional sites for each of its eight individual Braemar companies, using shared design and functionality.

With a broad range of services, the audience for its business sites, predominantly in the maritime sector, is varied but each shared the same desire to understand Braemar’s offer and be able to connect with any member of the Braemar global team.

The Solution

Following a number of workshops to understand the needs of each identified audience group, our designers created a brand platform that was fast loading, visually appealing and universally accessible.

Key features of the site include automatic image optimisation, a comprehensive contact database and a global locations mapping solution that links all Braemar websites with the relevant personnel and the services on offer at that location.

Key performance indicators

The site saw a significant increase in visitors with numbers swelling by more than 200% in the three months following launch. Time on site greatly increased too. However, the most encouraging statistic proving relevance to visitors was the 70% drop in the site’s bounce rate.
